Event Details
Raising the Curtain Foundation celebrates the the Grand Ovation Campaign as well as the 2nd Anniversary of the opening of the Newhall Family Theatre with a production of “The Man with Bogart’s Face” a live radio play.
Remember the good old days of radio—when people had to use their imaginations—when the mind was a stage? Those days are back—only better because you can SEE as well as HEAR radio programs. A man whose identity we never know has his face altered to look like Humphrey Bogart and is involved in a Maltese Falcon-type caper—like the old days when there were causes and dames and flags worth fighting for. And LAUGHS. Lots of LAUGHS.
Tickets are now available for purchase by visiting our Eventbrite page here. This is a themed event and patrons are encouraged to attend in 1940’s attire.
**Important note regarding parking: street parking is very limited. The Old Town Newhall Library parking lot, as well as the structure across the street, are located within short walking distance of the Newhall Family Theatre for the Performing Arts.**
