The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra presents its winter concert featuring their small ensembles. Groups performing will include the chamber music ensemble, advanced brass, guitar orchestra, and prelude winds, brass & strings ensemble.

The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra Foundation, is a non-profit organization, supporting exemplary fine arts musical education and performance opportunities. Rehearsals are conducted in the music facilities of Pico Canyon Hall at College of the Canyons, Valencia Campus, in Santa Clarita, California. All ensembles are directed by professional musicians with advanced music degrees. Students study all periods of music from baroque through modern, with opportunities for master classes with Los Angeles’ finest musicians, chamber music performances, and travel. Students, through exposure to expert instruction, musical knowledge, and ethnic diversity, acquire a love of beauty, learn to pursue excellence, demonstrate personal growth as musicians, and enrich the cultural life of our community.

**Important note regarding parking: street parking is very limited. The Old Town Newhall Library parking lot, as well as the structure across the street of the library, are located within short walking distance of the Newhall Family Theatre for the Performing Arts.**
